Morning routine for taking care of your mind and achieving your goals

Your best asset is your mind, having a daily routine that cares for your mind and focuses on your goals is fundamental to achieving them.

Experts agree that a daily routine where you prioritise your mental health, is a key factor in achieving what you want in life. In fact, if you look at any successful person you admire you’ll discover they have a daily routine. This routine is doubly important when going through divorce/separation, and you need to make significant decisions that will impact your future. 

A daily mindset routine provides the following benefits:

  1. Emotional regulation in times of stress – allowing you to make better decisions
  2. Understanding of how you and others work so you can build strong relationships
  3. Rediscovery of  what you want and what you can let go of, so you can move on.

Now, the best time to do this routine is when you first wake up and just before you go to sleep. Because when you sleep your conscious and subconscious merge and therefore your subconscious is much more receptive. After all, where focus goes, your energy flows, and your energy needs to be on you looking after yourself. 

To help you with this, I am sharing my personal routine and the beauty of this practice is that it is something you can and will always use. It will become so routine it will be like brushing your teeth and keep you in the driving seat of your life.
